- 2 balls of Freia Handpaint Fingering weight yarn
- US Size 3 circular needle (3.25 mm)
- Eucalan or Soak wash for blocking
This stunning yarn, Freia Handpaints Fingering weight in color ‘Vintage,’ was the perfect yarn for it too. This was my first time alternating the yarn on every round, in order to double the length of the long slow fade. This color fade is also known as ombre. According to the pattern, I should have needed another ball to complete the tee, but since this was not the original yarn stated in the pattern, such discrepancies are to be expected. Only two balls were needed. I even have a wee handful of yarn left for future repair or experiment.
